Slower and Lighter at Yoga with the Stars Saturday

It’s time to exhale that breath you did not realize you were holding. The tense polarity between Mars and Pluto subsides as both planets move into lighter signs and start to separate.  Sun and Mars do a supportive high-five, with both moving into congenial fire signs.  With Sun in Sagittarius and Mars in Leo, the Yang call to action could be satisfied by an uphill hike or soccer game rather than mortal conflict.  After the dark depths of Scorpio, Sun in Sagittarius is buoyant, elevated, philosophical, blunt, optimistic, generous and in love with learning and teaching. Sag is considered to be the sign most aligned with the Higher Self.  Mercury is also in the sign of the Archer, still receiving a positive boost from Jupiter as he prepares to turn retrograde on Monday until mid-December. Mars is likewise slowing down for an about-face on 12/6, further decelerating the too-fast pace of previous weeks. This relatively quiet waning Moon and the coming retrogrades offer space to be present, regroup and prepare for the long haul.  Where will our inner Sag Archer direct our arrow of intention?  How high can we aim? Who offers support and receives it? How can we lighten our load to better go the distance?  Retrogrades are not a time of inaction, but of intuitive reflection and reorientation.  Make the most of this optimistic breathing space with Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Saturday at 8:30.

Love and Blessings,
