Moving into Bliss
What brings you bliss in life? A state of peace and joy that offers the experience of feeling good; mind, body, and spirit. Allowing the wisdom of the body to lead us, we can move more deeply into a bliss state. We can also maintain these states of peace longer as we follow our inner flow.
I have been working on a yoga class series that invites us to move towards anandamaya kosha, the bliss body. In this series, we used yoga warm-ups to balance the luminous body and then did meditations for prosperity. As I designed and practiced the sequences, I was able to return to my center, my own state of bliss.
I have had this experience with yoga many times before. There are those moments where you feel whole, complete, balanced, uplifted, and blissful. It is what keeps us coming back. At the end of the day, when we can find our center, we can find our bliss, no matter what is going on in the world or in our lives.
Going through this practice, I realized how many places I am holding tension and how that tension is telling a story. It shows where I have fear, pain, or burnout in my body. It shows the places that need attention in order to achieve more health, happiness, and bliss, not just in my practice but in my whole life.
As I followed this series through the Koshas and towards Prosperity, I reconnected with the inner wisdom of my body. I took the time to slow down and listen. What I found was that it was always nudging me towards a more balanced life, and when I listened, I felt more at ease, I felt more prosperity, more bliss.
Where is your body guiding you? If you would like to tune in, find your center, and find your bliss, I invite you to join one of our lovely yoga classes.
I am sharing these beautiful teachings and more at Yoga West for the Especially for Women series.
Also, I will be co-hosting a powerful women's circle with Callie on May 31st. It will be focused on developing inner and outer radiance. Afterwards, there will be a photoshoot where I am offering participants a free life coaching session. It will be a magical, fun event where we can gather to celebrate spring and nourish our own radiance.
Sat Nam,
